Neolix Receives Approval for Public-Road Autonomous Delivery Testing in Cyberjaya, Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR, June 29, 2026 — Neolix, a global leader in L4 autonomous logistics, has become one of the first companies approved by Malaysia's Ministry of Transport to begin public-road sandbox testing for autonomous delivery vehicles in Cyberjaya.
The approval was granted under Malaysia's National Regulatory Sandbox framework for autonomous delivery vehicles. Road trials are expected to begin in the coming weeks, covering closed-road, semi-open and public-road environments in Cyberjaya.
The milestone marks an important step in Neolix's continued expansion across Southeast Asia. Malaysia provides a valuable environment for validating autonomous delivery in dense urban settings, supported by smart-city infrastructure and a left-hand traffic system relevant to many Asia-Pacific markets.
During the sandbox phase, Neolix will work with local and regional partners to evaluate use cases including express parcel delivery, campus logistics and on-demand e-commerce fulfilment. The programme will help generate operational learning and deployment models for future autonomous logistics applications in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.
Neolix's Malaysia pilot will be conducted with a consortium of partners including Tiong Nam Logistics, Asia Mobiliti and MindHub.
"Malaysia represents an important next step in Neolix's international expansion strategy," said the Head of Southeast Asia Operations at Neolix. "We see strong long-term demand for autonomous logistics infrastructure across the region, and Malaysia provides an ideal environment to validate technologies designed for dense urban Asian markets."
Cyberjaya is home to Malaysia's official Malaysia Autonomous Vehicle (MyAV) testing route, developed by the Ministry of Transport and Futurise under the National Regulatory Sandbox initiative. Participating companies are required to complete technical and safety evaluations by the MyAV Evaluation Committee before operating on public roads.
To date, Neolix has deployed autonomous delivery systems across 15+ countries and regions and more than 300 cities worldwide, with cumulative autonomous driving mileage exceeding 170 million kilometres. The company continues to advance localisation programmes across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and other global markets as it builds intelligent infrastructure for the next generation of urban logistics.
